I really liked the idea of Bloom in a button up shirt. So here we are.
Having said that, I want to be taking more artistic liberties when drawing pony characters. A lot of their stylistic decisions work best in a hyper-reduced cartoon style that needs to be animated quickly, but don’t gel with me personally; Like Applebloom’s super rounded ends of her hair–instead I gave her something more natural looking, which compliments my style better.
